What you are making
A word game you and your grown-up can play tonight, with rules you chose.
What an artifact is
Ask Claude for a game and it does not write instructions for a game. It builds one, and the game opens in a panel next to the chat. That panel is called an artifact. You play it right there, and when you say "six tries, not eight", the same game changes while you watch.
Ask small, then change it
Maya starts with one clear game: guess a five letter animal, six tries, show which letters are right. She plays two rounds with Karim. Then the changing begins, one rule at a time: only sea animals, a hint after the third wrong guess, a score at the top. One change per message, because if you ask for five at once and the game breaks, you cannot tell which one broke it.
Try this
I am 11 and my dad is next to me. Build a word guessing game in the panel beside the chat. I guess a five letter animal. After each guess show me which letters are right and in the right place. Give me six tries and show how many are left.
Change one thing only: after my third wrong guess, show a one sentence hint about the animal. Leave everything else exactly as it is.
