Agreeing to these terms

Using this site means you accept what is on this page. If you do not, please do not use the site. These terms are between you and Dasow, a studio in Costa Mesa, California.

What you may do

Read the courses, copy the prompts, use them in your own work, and share the links with anyone. That is what they are for. You may use what you learn commercially, including on work you bill for.

What you may not do

• Republish the course text, the videos or the exercises as your own material, or resell them.
• Scrape, crawl or hammer the site in a way that degrades it for other people.
• Break into accounts, forge certificates, or interfere with the quiz or the verification endpoints.
• Upload anything unlawful, or anyone else's confidential or personal data, through the feedback or contact forms.
• Use the site to build a competing course catalogue out of our material.

We can suspend an account or block access if any of that happens.

Accounts and sign-in links

An account is optional and free. Sign-in is a single-use link emailed to you, so your email account is the key to your Academy account. Keep it secure, and do not forward a sign-in link to anyone. Tell us at [email protected] if you think somebody else has been in your account. You can ask us to delete the account at any time.

The certificate

Passing a final quiz at 80 percent issues a certificate with your name, the course and the date, plus a public link anyone can check.

It certifies one thing: that this account completed that course and passed that quiz on that day. It is not a licence, a professional qualification, an accreditation, or a statement that you are competent at anything in particular. It is not issued, recognised or endorsed by Anthropic or by any certifying body. Presenting it as more than it is, or altering one, voids it.

We can revoke a certificate that was obtained by cheating or by breaking these terms.

Who owns what

The course text, the videos, the exercises, the artwork and the site itself belong to Dasow. You get permission to use them for learning and for your own work, not ownership of them.

Whatever you make with what you learn is yours. Your prompts, your documents, your client work and anything you write into a form here stay yours. We claim nothing over them. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the site without owing you anything for it.

AI output is not guaranteed

The courses teach you to work with a large language model. Models get things wrong, invent details, go out of date and change behaviour without notice. Nothing on this site is a promise that a prompt will produce a correct, complete or safe result.

You are responsible for what you do with an output in your own job: checking it, editing it, and deciding whether it goes to a client, a court, a patient, a permit office or an inspector. Do not put confidential or regulated data into any assistant unless your employer and your rules allow it. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial, tax or engineering advice.

The site is provided as it is

The Academy is free, and it comes with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, error free or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, Dasow is not liable for lost profits, lost data or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to 100 US dollars.

Third parties and trademarks

Dasow Academy is not affiliated with Anthropic, and Anthropic has not reviewed or endorsed it. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. We teach a product we pay for like anybody else. Claude is Anthropic's product, governed by Anthropic's own terms and pricing, which we do not control. Other product names on this site belong to their owners.

Links out of this site go to pages we do not run. We are not responsible for what is on them.

Privacy

What we collect and what we do with it is set out in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms; the effective date at the top says when they last changed, and using the site afterwards means accepting them. We may add, change or retire courses, and we may stop offering the site. You may stop using it at any time, and ask us to delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts in Orange County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
