Stop 6 of 6 · Weekly
Jess's week
Three scheduled routines that draft the week before Jess opens the laptop, and the capstone that runs one month end to end.
What it is
Everything in this course so far is a thing Jess does. This stop is the part that happens whether she does it or not. A scheduled routine is a prompt on a timer: it runs, it drafts, it files the result, and it leaves Jess a decision instead of a blank page.
Three routines cover a solo marketer's week at a service company. Nothing in them publishes, spends or replies on its own. They draft and they file.
The three routines
Monday 08:00, weekly
Read this week's rows in the content calendar and the new files in my Drive folder "Job photos, this month". Draft next week's posts: two Instagram captions, two Facebook posts and two Google Business Profile updates, in the voice from my Ridgeline marketing Project. Jobs with a permission note go first, a seasonal tip from the calendar row fills any gap. Mark each row drafted, and leave me a Gmail draft listing which posts still need a photo.
Friday 15:00, weekly
Check the Google Business Profile for reviews posted since last Friday. Draft a reply to each in our voice, four sentences or fewer, first names only. Put the drafts in the "Review replies" doc in Drive. Flag any review I should phone about before replying and say why in one line. Do not publish anything.
First of the month, 07:00
From the exports in my Drive folder "Exports" and the call log spreadsheet, draft the monthly report for Dale: calls, direction requests, form fills and cost per call at the top, one line per channel against the four-week average, the three best posts, and exactly one recommendation. Use only numbers from those files. Where an export is missing, write a placeholder saying which file it needs. Save it to the "Reports" folder.
